Ever since I was a kid, I've been lost in daydreams, creating tiny stories and poems that dance through my imagination. I always knew I wanted to share these worlds with others. My journey kicked off with a high school adventure in bookbinding and publishing. Although I never attended art school, my love for crafting led me to paint on canvas and explore different artistic avenues.
I took a detour into the world of graphic design, creating websites and graphics, but the magic of storytelling was missing. That's when Procreate came into my life, and oh, what a game-changer! After numerous courses, hours spent in books, and tutorials, I not only learned to draw but also discovered the joy of digital storytelling.
This isn't just a portfolio; it's an open invitation to explore the fantastical realms living in my head. Every stroke of my digital brush, every word from my pen is a step into a new world, and I'm thrilled to share it with you.
2010 - writing journey
Joined some small literary competitions, further expanding on writing skills on multiple levels. The seeds of novel ideas started sprouting in my mind.
2012 - arts & crafts
Creating artworks with multiple medias, joined many art fairs and events, established steady flow in painting and bookbinding.
2015 - digital art
First touch with digital painting with Procreate, graphic & web design studies, digital art studies. Slowly transitioned from traditional art to digital art. Continuous studies, workshops and events attendance.
2023 - established ravy
Common ground to expand, combine and share skills in writing, worldbuilding and digital painting.
Being able to visualize every part of the story is the first step. Once your characters have a physical appearance, locations come alive and creatures are brought into existence, everything starts to connect together.
